About Staying Safer Limited
Staying Safer was set up in 2021 as vehicle for Professor Adam R Winstock to collaborate with a range of partners to build capacity in the delivery of evidence-based treatments and harm reduction initiatives in the field of alcohol and other drugs.
Based on his 25 years as a senior consultant and academic working in the UK and Australia, running clinical services, developing training programmes and creating digital tools, Staying Safer offers engaging, scalable and cost-effective approaches to reducing harm and improving clinical practice.
Adam’s collaborative approach, working with stakeholders and other clinical and education experts, allows him to create tools that meet the needs of those of will use them in a practical, enjoyable fashion.
His strong research background is incorporated into every initiative, with a cycle of evaluation and feedback ensuring iterative design – programmes and tools are never static but are constantly revised and improved upon.
